- Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- To ensure all irregular, unusual, suspicious, or illegal activities are logged and reported as soon as possible.
- To play an active role in all loss prevention and safety programs as directed by the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager.
- To safeguard all confidential information and to exercise due care to prevent its improper disclosure or use.
- To strictly comply with the "Code of Ethics" at all times.
- To assist with investigations as directed by the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager.
- To maintain the strict surveillance necessary for the prevention, detection and apprehension of persons involved in any illegal or adverse activity; and to log and report such activity to the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager.
- To ensure that all surveillance equipment is functioning correctly and to report any malfunctions to the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager immediately.
- To ensure the accuracy and neat recording of all activities, as required, in the logs and reporting formats used for the CCTV operation.
- To play an active role in the department's digital library system.
- To execute other duties as directed by the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager.
- Perform other tasks as required.
