- Job Description:
- Participate in designing and programming backend server systems; develop game logic, scenarios, and social networks. Implement auxiliary services for features such as leaderboards, player profiles, and in-game purchases.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to deploy and manage game servers, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Coordinate with Game Designers, Artists, and development teams to integrate networking features into gameplay for a seamless and engaging multiplayer experience.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in game networking, proposing and implementing the best methods to enhance overall player experience.
- Integrate with external partners, such as Photon Engine, to efficiently apply their technology to game development.
- Job Requirements:
- Proficient programming skills in one of the languages such as Java, C#, Go, Nodejs/Typescript
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing online multiplayer games, building Dedicated Servers, Relays, Multiplayer servers.
- Experience with concepts of multiple player networking system architecture (client-server, synchronization, latency optimization).
- Knowledge of network protocols and standards, including TCP/IP, UDP, and WebSocket, Socket programming.
- Experience with databases (RDBMS/NoSQL) like MongoDB, MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud services, especially AWS/Google Firebase, and understanding of cloud computing.
- Proficiency in Agile development principles, Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
- Experience working with game engine networking solutions like Unity/Unreal is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps (docker, k8s, caching, message queues) is a significant advantage.
