  • Review and evaluate applications from international students for admission
  • Verify the authenticity of academic transcripts, test scores, and supporting documents
  • Ensure all application materials meet the school's admission requirements
Communication and Correspondence:
  • Address inquiries from prospective international students about the admission process and requirements
  • Communicate admission decisions to applicants
  • Develop communication channels, including leveraging Social Media, for the recruitment and retention of Korean students and families
Admission Criteria Compliance:
  • Stay abreast of school policies and admission criteria to ensure adherence
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to assess qualification equivalency
Documentation and Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of student applications and admission decisions
Counseling and Guidance:
  • Guide potential students on academic programs, campus life, and the visa application process
  • Assist international students with visa applications and orientation programs
Continuous Improvement:
  • Contribute to the enhancement of international admissions process strategies
  • Propose improvements to admission policies and procedures in response to evolving international education landscapes
Korean Community Engagement:
  • Oversee marketing and promotional activities targeting the Korean community
  • Identify and execute Korean community-based initiatives to enhance brand awareness and perception
Crisis Management:
  • Handle sensitive situations and crises related to the admission of international Korean students with professionalism and empathy
Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with academic departments, financial aid, and international student services for a seamless admission process
  • Work collaboratively with all admissions team members and coordinate admissions events targeting the Korean community
  • Identify and establish working partnerships within the local community to generate new inquiries from Korean families
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Prefer Korean native speakers. Fluent in speaking and writing English to effectively liaise with the stakeholders of the region
  • Thorough understanding of international education systems and admission requirements
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a diverse and multicultural environment
  • Proficiency in relevant software and databases used in the admissions process
