- Application Leadership & Support:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of application specialists and technical support staff.
- Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and support career development.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture aligned with BD’s values.
- Training & Education:
- Develop and deliver training programs for customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Marketing and Sale Support
- Understanding requirements of customer’s experiment and provide appropriate technical and product solutions through discussions, presentations and/or product/application demonstrations to positively impact sales and increase productivity.
- Co-ordinate / support / lead awareness activities such as seminars, conference
- Continuously track competitor activity and scan the market environment for developing trends and practices and emerging business opportunities.
- Project Management:
- Manage application-related aspects of product installations and implementations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Customer Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), laboratory managers, and clinicians.
- Gather customer feedback and relay insights to regional product and R&D teams.
- Compliance & Quality:
- Ensure all activities comply with BD’s quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Medical Technology , Laboratory Medicine Technique or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in application support, technical service, or clinical laboratory operations in clinical diagnostics industry or hospitals
- Strong knowledge of clinical diagnostics, clinical microbiology or molecular biology is preferred.
- Experience working with healthcare institutions and clinical laboratories in Vietnam is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for healthcare innovation.
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
- Strong understanding of the medical device market and regulatory environment in Vietnam.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel across North region, and across country
- Proficiency in English and Vietnamese.
- Experience working with Laboratory medical devices company.
- Willing to travel across Vietnam when needed.
