- Develop and implement sustainable strategies to increase growth in the longtail merchant segment, focusing on GMV, revenue, and ads performance.
- Collaborate with teams to design projects tailored to the needs of longtail merchants.
- Conduct market research to uncover trends, challenges, and opportunities within the longtail merchant segment.
- Build relationship with longtail merchants to understand their challenges and requirements also offering guidance on optimizing their presence and performance on GrabFood.
- Be a subject matter expert on merchant platform features, providing insights for product improvement and development.
- Facilitate communication between local merchant-facing teams and regional teams to align strategies.
- Collect and use feedback from merchant partners, sales/account management teams, and other partners to refine and improve execution plans.
- Analyze merchant performance metrics, such as order volume, fulfillment rates, and customer ratings.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance merchant performance through training, operational support, and marketing projects.
- Lead, training and support team, ensuring agreement on our goals.
- Collaborate with other teams, including marketing, operations, GIP, and product, to ensure smooth execution of merchant-focused projects.
- Improve merchant experiences across different lifecycle stages, providing them with the tools and knowledge needed for success.
- Monitor and address operational challenges, such as order cancellations, delays, and customer complaints.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in merchant development, account management, or business growth roles in e-commerce, food delivery, or tech industries. Knowledge of the food delivery ecosystem or familiarity with GrabFood's merchant platform.
- Experience managing teams and collaborating across departments.
- Experience developing growth strategies for small to medium-sized businesses or longtail merchant segments.
- Proficiency in analyzing performance metrics and deriving insights to improve merchant operations. Knowledge of data visualization tools and reporting systems (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms)
- Willingness to be hands-on and take ownership of multiple tasks or experiments
