As a senior leader, you will partner closely with executive stakeholders to drive robust risk practices, influence strategic decisions, and elevate overall risk maturity across APAC. This role is essential for ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness in the financial services industry.As a Director, Technology Risk & Governance, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive risk management and control frameworks for the technology department.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in operational processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies within the financial services industry.
  • Leading initiatives to improve governance, risk, and control practices across divisional operations.
  • Providing strategic advice to senior leadership on risk management and internal controls.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of control frameworks and recommending enhancements when necessary.
  • Coaching and mentoring teams to build a strong culture of risk awareness and accountability.
  • Collaborating with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

  • The ability to analyze complex data and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience in working with regulatory bodies and understanding of relevant regulations.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
