Junior Database Analyst (Domain in Financial Services)

• Gather requirements, impact analysis, development and support for change requests, projects and new product development.

• Follow strictly to project processes.

• Provide production support and participate in implementation projects in Murex Datamart/ Interface Streams.

• Develop expertise and participate in the build of Murex Interface/ Reporting solutions.

• Develop Trade workflows and interfaces to set up communication between external platforms and Murex to receive trade and other data feeds, process them, save into the system, and send acknowledgement.

• Use a combination of MxML Exchange, MxOpenConnect, Murex APIs, and Datamart to successfully deliver such solutions.

• Provide technical support to customers, ensuring successful follow up of issues from notification to resolution and validation.

• Develop and maintain end-to-end configuration management packages, such as Install, Deploy, and Test Murex Packaged interfaces like MDIT (market data interface tool), Markitwire, BSMT, and MarkitCredit to receive live and end-of-day data from external providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit, etc...

• Integrate with various teams to deliver the right solution to client.

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree Holder, preferably from Data Science, Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information System or relevant disciplines.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• SQL proficiency & experience with at least one well-known RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, IBM DB2, MySQL.

• Basic knowledge of scripting with Unix.

• Familiar with Programming Languages such as Java, Python.

• Experience with PowerBI is a great plus.

• Able to communicate well in English.

• Proactive with the ability to deliver tasks on-time.

• Highly committed and motivated to learn in the Financial Market.

• Previous banking experience or knowledge of Treasury Products or Treasury System (Murex, Calypso, SunGard, etc.) will be an advantage.
