Each Rixos property presents a unique experience inspired by local culture, global influences, and our Turkish heritage, all within a setting of unparalleled luxury.Job DescriptionAt Rixos Phu Quoc, the first “hello” matters just as much as the last “see you soon.”We're looking for a Door Attendant who understands that luxury starts at the door - someone polished, attentive, and naturally welcoming with an eye for detail and a heart for service.If you take pride in presentation, enjoy helping others, and know how to make guests feel instantly at ease, this role has your name on it.What you'll be doingAs a Door Attendant, you'll be the first and last point of contact for our guests setting the tone for their entire stay.Your responsibilities will include:Warmly greeting all guests on arrival and departure and guiding them to the appropriate areasOpening the main hotel doors and maintaining a welcoming, professional presence at all timesHandling guest luggage safely and efficiently during arrival, stay, departure, and storageEnsuring all luggage is properly tagged and securedAssisting guests with directions, requests, and general inquiriesResolving guest concerns promptly and coordinating with relevant departments for follow-upMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised Concierge and entrance areaStaying informed on hotel occupancy, VIPs, groups, and daily eventsMaintaining clear communication with colleagues during shift handoversUpdating and reviewing the logbook to ensure smooth operationsSupporting daily front office operations and reporting updates to the Assistant Front Office Manager / Front Office ManagerEnsuring compliance with hotel safety, fire, and first aid proceduresDemonstrating excellent product knowledge of the location, hotel facilities and servicesQualificationsPrevious experience in a luxury hotel or high-end service environment is an advantageStrong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English and Vietnamese an advantage in this roleA professional, well-groomed appearance and positive attitude (always)A calm, courteous, and solution-focused approach to guest interactionsTeam spirit and respect for colleagues across all departmentsPhysical ability to assist with luggage and stand for extended periodsAdditional Information
