TymeX is the technological and operational arm of a larger entity known as TymeGroup. We research, design, and develop software for our business units based in South Africa and APAC within the fintech sector. We currently hold a banking license in South Africa, the Philippines, and Vietnam, and we are expanding rapidly in APAC.The Design TeamOur design team is a dynamic group of 20 talented professionals, including UX, UI, Interaction, Motion, UX writers, researchers, and strategists. We are dedicated to crafting exceptional user experiences and maintaining the highest design standards. We structure the design team in four hubs: UX design strategy, UI design and Design System, UX Research, UX Writing. We've recently been awarded two Red Dot Design Awards, two UX Design Awards, a Design for Asia Award, and an International Design Award. UX Video:The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and passionate UI designer with expertise in developing and scaling our current coded design systems “Genesys”. You will work as a key asset of the UI-Hub, creating high-quality UI components, keeping the designs consistent across the apps, customising themes and styles, and optimising views, layouts, and the overall UI. They should possess outstanding design skills and experience in the field (ideally for mobile applications). Knowledge of coded design systems and tools such as Figma variables, Token Studio, components variations, documentation, best practice etc. is essential. Experience with multi-brand design systems is a significant bonus.*Note that this position is based in HCMC (Vietnam). However, we offer an excellent relocation package for those willing to relocate and can also consider an initial remote collaboration and a later relocation.**Only applications with a shared portfolio are taken into consideration.Requirements

Strong knowledge of organizing, structuring, and scaling a Design System (coded)
5+ years in User Interface design focusing on mobile (Android, iOS)
Excellent English communication skills, able to communicate with any stakeholders. This is a multi-country role within a multinational team.
A genuine passion for Product design and attention to even the smallest details is crucial.
You have a portfolio of beautiful, detail-oriented designs (not conceptual) showcasing the delivery of successful products to the market, from concepts to prototypes and final execution.
You have a portfolio showcasing the successful implementation of design systems from concepts to final execution
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design.
Knowledge of best-practice UX design techniques (Android, iOS), such as user journeys, flow charts, wireframing, etc.
Great eye and a passion for customer-centric and aesthetic pixel-perfect design.
You should have a strong opinion and the ability to sell your vision, but you should also be ready to adapt and change when alternatives are more compelling.
A collaborative mindset to create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements.
