- Support the implementation of the enterprise data governance framework across business units.
- Maintain and update data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Define, measure, and monitor data quality KPIs and rules across key data domains.
- Identify data quality issues, conduct root cause analyses, and coordinate remediation with data owners and IT teams.
- Develop and maintain a data quality dashboard and reporting mechanism.
- Collaborate with business data owners and data stewards to ensure data accountability and proper data handling.
- Support the documentation of business data definitions, ensuring consistency and alignment in the business glossary.
- Provide guidance and training to data stewards on governance practices, tools, and procedures.
- Support metadata collection, data lineage mapping, and cataloging activities.
- Maintain metadata repositories and ensure updates reflect business and technical changes.
- Contribute to master data management (MDM) initiatives to improve data consistency across systems.
- Support the alignment of governance activities with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, local data protection laws, SBV/financial regulations).
- Work with Risk, Compliance, and Security teams to ensure proper classification and access control of sensitive data.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or data management functions.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data lifecycle management, and data quality frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK preferred).
- Experience working with data governance or catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Ataccama, IBM IGC).
- Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory compliance in the financial or banking sector is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into data governance solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
