- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the regional team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government authorities.
- Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring financial goals are met while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Ensure that all regional activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer feedback to develop and adapt regional strategies accordingly.
- Provide voice of markets and voice of customers to global/regional teams to create new services.
- Contribute to the development of the company's overall strategy, with a focus on regional growth and expansion.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on regional performance and achievements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business within the Indochina region.
- Identify strategic market opportunities to grow and create new markets.
- Direct the development of commercial plans to meet market needs and financial goals Direct communication and report activities for the country.
- Encourage innovation within the regional team to drive continuous improvement and adapt to changing market dynamics.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality of service, addressing any issues promptly.
- Reach business customer satisfaction goals.
- Boost perceived value in the market by offering top-notch services and a positive client experience.
- Ensure that the nation's sales and operational leadership is properly educated and trained.
- Measure the performance of the leadership team using operational and strategic objectives.
- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant experience and an MBA or a bachelor's degree in business administration, management, sales, or an equivalent are strongly preferred.
- Test, Inspection, Certification, Quality Management Systems and Advisory preferred, but not required.
- In-depth familiarity with the Indochina market as well as good government relations, a plus.
- Confident in representing UL to external stakeholders, including government and regulatory bodies.
- Have experience working in a highly matrix environment.
- Prior accomplishments in sales and marketing are a plus.
- Proven leadership and development capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and influencing.
- Adept in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic partnerships, a plus.
- Proficient in internal collaboration across diverse departments and functions.
- Strategic mindset with a passion for growth and expansion.
- Can be based in either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City
