- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize EPC, O&M, and BOP contracts in line with international standards (FIDIC, EPC Turnkey, BOT/IPP).
- Define clear Scope of Work (design, construction, commissioning, warranty) to prevent disputes.
- Assess contractual risks, including Force Majeure, price adjustments, regulatory changes, and delays.
- Standardize contract templates, approval checklists, ensuring compliance with local law (PPP, Construction Law, Investment Law).
- Ensure contractor compliance with contract terms: progress, quality, HSE requirements.
- Manage variations/change orders, scope adjustments, technical modifications, and extension requests.
- Oversee payment process: verify completed works, approve milestone payments, and monitor cash flow.
- Handle claims & disputes: analyze compensation requests (delays, cost overrun), negotiate settlements, or escalate to arbitration.
- Manage guarantees & insurance: performance bonds, advance payment guarantees, warranty bonds, and construction insurance.
- Ensure Provisional Acceptance (PAC) and Final Acceptance (FAC) meet IEC, TCVN, and contractual technical requirements.
- Supervise transfer of documents: design, operation, maintenance, warranty manuals.
- Monitor post-contract obligations: defect liability, warranty, maintenance.
- Supervise and evaluate contractors' performance (KPI, schedule, quality).
- Coordinate between technical, legal, and finance teams to resolve claims, guarantees, and payments.
- Negotiate changes in scope/value while minimizing legal risks and protecting investor interests.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in contract management for power/energy projects (renewable energy preferred).
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC, EPC, PPP, and Vietnamese legal framework.
- Proven experience in claims/disputes resolution and contractor negotiations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (legal & technical terms).
- Competitive salary compared to the market and commensurate with ability, will be negotiated when the candidate passes the Interview round.
