  • The Global Operations Lead for Exclusive Brands owns the product fulfillment process starting with production planning and going thru to placement in North American retail channels. The position demands self-leadership, critical thought mindset, and exceptional cross-functional communication skills to optimize production and fulfillment strategies, with the end goal being optimized inventory position across all nodes of our supply chain. • Operational Leadership: Analyze product demand and component market trends across product categories and channels, manage and execute purchase order and sales order processes across multiple ERP's (Retek & SAP), coordinate receipt and production plans (including component level planning) as well as administer VMI programs, and create solutions for all exception management situations which arise in assigned categories.
  • Communication: Effective communication is critical with global partners (primarily focused on Asia and North America) to include Category Development, Enterprise Supply Chain, Category Management, Finance, Global Process & Analytics, as well as external vendors. Effective communication is essential in leading internal and external meetings, developing and facilitating operational trainings, and representing Global Operations in capability development projects as assigned.
  • Capability Development: The position requires critical thinking skills to determine optimal fulfillment methods focused on achieving enterprise and category goals. This requires the Global Ops Lead to own identifying more effective and efficient ways in which to deliver on the required business outcomes and to do so with minimal direct supervision.
2.Essential Functions
  • Operational Leadership (Upto 50%)
  • Analyze sales demand trends, receipt plans, and/or production plans and advise adjustments to plan as needed and in some categories directly own the enterprise forecasting process (Ops Model Program - Direct ownership of AIP / RDF)
  • Own or support aspects of purchase order and sales order management from component and labor planning through finished goods delivery, this includes owning processes in multiple ERP's including Retek (Oracle) and SAP.
  • Identify risk to production and receipt planning and escalate as needed to partners, vendors, and through our business review processes (WBR, MBR, QBR, Version, etc.)
  • Leverage data and analytics tools in all aspects of operational decisions making (Power BI, Enterprise Data Science, vendor insights, industry sources, etc.)
  • Lead Operations Planning and LRP / Strategy Meetings (internally and/or externally)
  • Proactively engage in developing strategies to address any overstock, end-of-life and product transition opportunities (to include all transition management aspects of component supply at origin as well as finished goods in channel)
  • Responsible for creating resolutions to operational exceptions and issues in assigned product categories
  • Communication (Upto 40%)
  • Communicate effectively across multiple functional areas including Category Development, Enterprise Supply Chain, Category Management, Finance, Global Process & Analytics, as well as external vendors
  • Responsible for rapid identification and communicating key procurement exceptions (forecast changes, P.O. expediting needs, component and production risks, etc).
  • Lead and represent Exclusive Brands in sales and operational planning meetings both internal and external
  • Identify training needs, develop content, and execute training / coaching opportunities for cross functional teams (internal and external) on how to most effectively manage ExB products
  • Capability Development (Upto 10%)
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities which enable more effective and efficient methods to achieve our operational goals focused on speed of product fulfillment while optimizing all aspects of operational expenses
  • Lead and champion ExB and broader enterprise projects focused on operational improvements or initiatives as assigned
3.Requirement
  • Require:
  • 4+ YOE Production Planning, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Forecasting, Finance, or related field
  • English speaking and writing skills required, as well as in-region primary language (ex: Mandarin for China, Vietnamese for Vietnam or Thai for Thailand) for positions based outside North America
  • Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Preferred
  • SAP user experience, Sales Order and Purchase Order Mgmt focused
  • Retek or Oracle experience, any of the Retail, Inventory or PO modules
  • APICS CSCM and / or CPIM considered beneficial
