About the Systems Engineer positionWe are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer who will help building, maintaining, and troubleshooting our rapidly expanding infrastructure. You will join our talented team of engineers who deliver mission critical infrastructure and ensure the highest levels of availability, performance and security.You should have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis. We also expect you to demonstrate superb technical competency and strong teamwork skills.Systems Engineer responsibilities are:Monitor and support all installed systems and infrastructureOrganize the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, acting proactivelyInstall, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management toolsEvaluate application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions, and implement them with the help of developersOversee company's security, backup, and redundancy strategiesDevelop custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasksContribute to the design of information and operational support systemsWork together with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutionSystems Engineer requirements are:2+ years' experience of working on a Systems Engineer positionExpertise:

SQL Server (MCSA Microsoft SQL Server):

Configuration (Authentication, User Roles, Backup)
Encryption (TDE, Always Encrypted)
Threat Detection & Auditing
MySQL / PostgreSQL Security:

User Privileges, SQL Injection Prevention, Firewall Rules
Knowledge of virtualization systems (VMware, ESX...); Database management systems (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL...)
Cloud Security: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (*).
Security Tools: Wireshark, Metasploit, Snort, Nessus.
Logging & Monitoring: SIEM (Splunk, ELK), Syslog.
Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python for automation

Strong English reading comprehension, equivalent to TOEIC 550 or higher.
Ability to independently conduct security assessments: excellent communication, proactive, and friendly with customers/partners.
Proficient in compiling reports and presenting them scientifically and clearly.
Understanding of information security and types of system attacks
Possession of one of the following system certifications: MCSA: SQL Server 2016 Database Administration (SQL Server Administration), CompTIA Security+ (Basic Security Knowledge)
Experience in managing cloud systems such as AWS, Azure is an advantage
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related area
At least 1 year of experience in managing systems built on Linux and Windows; Installing and operating open-source software: Ubuntu/Debian/Centos.
Having experience in managing Microsoft SQL Database server systems in data architecture environments such as the banking sector, with an understanding of the Banking data model, is an advantage.
Having experience in managing cloud server systems in financial environments, with knowledge of using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud products, is an advantage.
