Job Description:We are Oracle Product Engineering team, who provide final integration and test for our high-end server and integrated solutions. We are a collaborative team executing in a fast-paced environment and delivering quality products to support Oracle's business needs around the world. We are currently looking for a new Principal Product Engineer (PE) that expects excellence out of themselves and strive to reach their full potential. We are seeking highly-talented servers integration professional who can strengthen our capabilities and help enable the transition of technology from a development environment to production. This position is a challenging and rewarding opportunity with an exciting blend of both hands on technical work coupled with elements of technical program management. You have the unique opportunity to bring your hardware and software engineering knowledge to Product Engineering and Supply Chain Operations teams. This PE will be based in Bắc Giang, Vietnam in one of our manufacturing partners' facility, and will be working closely with various teams across the globe. Detailed Job Description:• Core team member for Operations Product Team(s) from pre-production build through product last ship• Contribute to analysis of product designs per DFx criterion (Design-For-Manufacturability, Design-For-Test, Design-For-Assembly)• With Design Engineering and Supplier Quality Engineering, develop quality control plans for manufacturing• Drive continuous improvement of yields at all relevant logical system and/or PCBA test operations• Review and approve all product specifications prior to ECO release• Manage all ECO cut-in / phase in processes for the smooth integration of product changes• Conduct First-Article Inspections (FAI) on new products and revisions• Support Material Review Board (MRB) toward dispositioning Non-Conforming product• Monitor and react to quality and reliability excursions through product life cycle.• Drive second-sourcing qualification activities at component level• Drive design of fixtures and tooling to support/improve manufacturing productivity & efficiency of products.Required Qualifications:• 7-10 years experience in design/ manufacturing/ testing of server products in a global environment• Knowledge of troubleshooting and debug methodologies on server products• Experience/ Knowledge in printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing and test process• Knowledge of X86 system level architecture including memory and I/O subsystems• Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDesired Qualifications:• Knowledge in DF* methodologies Basic understanding of programming languages, SQL• Work in matrix environment• Analytical skills• Data driven decision making and results orientation• Ability to travel between 10 - 25% of time.Education and Language:• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering is a MUST• Proficient in English (read, write, listen, speak), and good command of Mandarin (listen, speak)Career Level - IC4About Us:As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow's technology to tackle today's problems.
