- Serve as the primary liaison between Japanese clients and development teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Translate client requirements into actionable tasks for development teams.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges.
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with project managers.
- Monitor and manage project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create, review, and manage system design documents, including both basic and detailed designs.
- Support the technical team in implementing client requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Plan and oversee testing activities, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Stress Testing.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with client expectations.
- Utilize tools such as Jira, Backlog, and Git for task management and version control.
- Provide hands-on support in programming languages like Java, .NET (WPF), or SQL Server as needed.
- Address and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
- Offer insights into Banking/Finance domains, such as Risk Management or Financial Derivatives.
- Leverage expertise in frameworks like Basel Capital Accord, LCR, NSFR, or IRRBB.
- Proactively identify process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Japanese language skills equivalent to N1 level are mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Bridge Software Engineer (BrSE) or in a related role.
- Strong understanding of system design and documentation.
- Hands-on experience in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, .NET, or SQL Server).
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Backlog, and Git for project and task management.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in testing processes, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Stress Testing.
- Background in Banking/Financial domains, including Credit Risk Management, Market Risk Management, or Liquidity Risk Management.
- Knowledge of specialized financial frameworks, such as Basel Accord, IRRBB, LCR, or NSFR.
