Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a manufacturing and commercial organisation in the electrical materials & lighting industry. This role oversees full P&L, business development, operations, and organisation leadership, driving both short term commercial results and long‑term strategic growth.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Commercial Leadership
  • Lead market recovery in retail and build a strong B2B project channel.
  • Develop and execute mid and long‑term business strategies.
  • Strengthen sales networks, drive new business, and deepen key customer relationships (contractors, installers, architects, engineering firms).
  • Manage opportunity pipelines to maximize project wins and retail distribution growth.
  • Drive brand positioning, marketing initiatives, and digital sales.
Operations & Supply Chain
  • Oversee factory operations to ensure quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate production, logistics, inventory, and after‑sales performance.
  • Implement continuous improvement and operational KPIs.
People & Organization
  • Lead and develop cross‑functional teams across sales, operations, finance, HR.
  • Build strong performance culture with KPIs, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Drive collaboration across commercial and technical functions.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
  • Report to the Board and work closely with shareholders.
  • Oversee investments, new product launches, and business expansion plans.

  • 8-10+ years in senior management roles (GM, Commercial Director, Operations Director).
  • Experience in industrial, consumer durables, construction, or electrical sectors.
  • Strong commercial track record across retail and B2B project channels.
  • Proven leadership of teams 50+ and experience driving organizational change.
  • Solid understanding of production operations, project management, and tender processes.
  • Strong ERP/CRM and digital sales capability.
  • Fluent English; Vietnamese highly valued.
