- Develop, implement, and maintain strategic logistics plans and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee daily logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and customs compliance.
- Negotiate contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to secure favorable terms and service levels.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize holding costs while ensuring product availability.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant domestic and international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics operations with overall business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals.
- Implement and utilize logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, such as disruptions, delays, and quality issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5~8 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex logistics operations and achieving cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Strong knowledge of global transportation modes (air, ocean, ground), customs regulations, and international trade compliance.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
