Built on three main pillars: Collaboration with governments and organizations in countries; Venture Assistance for social organizations, and Community Development Programs and Projects, the ASIF Foundation is dedicated to advancing sustainable development in key areas such as good health and well-being, quality education, clean water and sanitation. Through community development programs and social organizations assistance projects, we strive to enhance the quality of life for vulnerable communities and promote lasting improvements.We are looking for experienced, qualified, and motivated Vietnamese candidates who are committed to working long-term.Main roles and responsibilities of WASH Project Manager:Plans, develops, monitors, and evaluates the assigned WASH project(s). This involves assessing WASH needs, designing projects, writing proposals, and initiating and effectively managing and reporting on the projects in line with the objectives, timeframe, and budget.Providing technical support, leadership, and strategic direction, ensuring quality standards in WASH delivery are met.Key Activity AreasManage assigned WASH projects in order to meet project objectives within the budget and allocated time frame;Provide strong leadership of the assigned WASH project(s), working to ensure both short and long-term positive impacts and outcomes for the beneficiaries, local authorities (where applicable) and local communities.Implement appropriate and effective WASH strategies in consultation with government ppartners and other related stakeholders;Set clear objectives and indicators for WASH activities for effective M&E;Continuously monitor and supervise WASH activities, overseeing the technical design, execution, and evaluation of progress through outputs and impacts;Provide input into the integration of beneficiary participation and accountability in all aspects of the project;Ensure accurate and timely reporting of activities for Program Director, and donors;Develop new proposals, linked to the Program strategy of ASIF Foundation;Other tasks as requested by line manager and BOD.?QualificationsHigher level qualification in a technical field, preferably in water and sanitation.BSc/ MSc in Water/ Environmental Engineering or Management or Civil Engineering or Hydrology / Geology/ Project Management.Excellent working knowledge of English (speaking and writing).ExperienceAt least 5 years working in a relevant field, preferable working in (I)NGOsGood management experience within a WASH context.Good numerical, report writing and administration skills.Have problem solving and technical WASH skills within a humanitarian setting.Solid knowledge and understanding of community development approach.Experience in community mobilization and capacity-building.Organization compliance responsibility:Every staff member of the organization is accountable for assuring compliance's rules & ethic code all the time while meeting with relevant parties and people to maintain and strengthen organization's image.Work location: Ho Chi Minh City - VietnamType:FulltimeSalary: NegotiateHow to apply:To respond to this opportunity, please send your Cover letter written in English stating the expectation, up-to-date Curriculum Vitae with at least two most recent employment references to referencing “WASH Project Manager Opportunity” in the subject title.
