  • You will be responsible for sales and account management for existing customers and develop new customers to achieve budgeted sales and profit contributions.
  • You will develop new business opportunities in the Durables Segment, primarily targeting the Taiwanese and Chinese OEMs and converters in the Electronics, Industrial, and Automotive applications in line with the Segment Strategy Plan in Vietnam.
  • You will report to the Regional Business Manager and dotted line to Senior Segment Manager, Durables, South Asia
  • You will be based in Hanoi/Bac Ninh.
As the Senior Sales Engineer, North & Durables, you will report to the Regional Business Manager and be responsible for the following:Manage direct customers (direct accounts/printers)
  • Grow the business by managing existing accounts and identifying new potential customers.,
  • The use of products to new and existing customers through the application of selling skills and building relationships with all levels within the target customers.
  • Understand our Product Portfolio and Sales Process.
  • Solving technical issues with close coordination with the Quality Assurance & Technical Support Team.
  • Manage market intelligence and monitor market trends in the region.
  • Actively involved in timely collections from the customers
  • Prepare regular reports, both for Internal and Customers like Sales Forecasts, Customers' Sales Forecast, Competitor Activity, Pricing Movements, Customer Complaints etc.
Segment focus (Durables/Electronics)
  • Maintains relationships with existing accounts and developing new accounts, primarily focusing on Chinese & Taiwanese converters and electronics / industrial/automotive OEMs
  • Lead and drive end-user pipeline growth to meet objectives and ensure we have a healthy pipeline to fuel growth.
  • Assess current revenue performance and monitor product profitability.
  • Partner with organizations (BMs / BDMs, Commercial teams) to ensure development of programs, tools and

  • Build and maintain close relationships with strategic end-users
  • Participate as a member of the Regional Durables team, and share best practices, learning, and strategies across the regions.
  • Conduct competitive product assessments and develop new product or product positioning strategies to compete.
  • Manage the regional product portfolio to ensure that the right inventory and products are manufactured or kept at the distribution centers & plant.
Experience requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years related experience with Account Management exp.
  • Experience in Packaging/Chemicals/Ink/Labels/Digital Printing/Paints/Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Business Chinese verbal communication is a must, based on business needs
  • Selling Experience to Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Mobile Phones and Automotive is good to have
  • Solid business acumen; ability to understand short and long-term consequences.
  • Skilled in conducting required territory analysis and planning.
  • Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies at targeted accounts.
  • Expert negotiation skills/experience.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues3
