- This role provides direction and leadership to the Quality Engineering (“QE”) delivery team of 500+ engineers and testers located at Nab Vietnam. The team delivers all software testing globally across Nab
- The role is accountable to drive a cultural shift in testing practices that supports Nab’s Expert Engineering agenda, which includes attracting and hiring the best engineers, using the best test tools and frameworks to deliver a consistent and market leading testing service to the enterprise
- The department is accountable for the final implemented quality of complex, cross-domain software
- Ensure a suitable workforce strategy is in place to manage a significant change budget of $10m+
- Managing the relationship with the quality engineering teams (vendors and NAB staff) across all locations where Nab operates
- The QE brand should characterise the NAB core values, and build advocacy with internal colleagues and external customers, driving a positive and measurable change for the benefit of customers, communities, employees and NAB.
- Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.
- Experience in scaling and leading a large team of technical engineers across Australia, India and Vietnam, with 30+ direct report
- Encourage and promote diversity in the team, and act as a role model to enable, engage and motivate the team to perform at their highest level
- The role works closely with stakeholders across domains including Innovation Executive, as well as the broader NAB technology teams
- Coach and develop your leadership team to succeed in all aspects of their role
- Strong experience to navigate and manage in change process
- Execute the QE strategy and roadmap that uplifts the technical QE capability across NAB
- Innovate and embed QE practices that deliver customer value, whilst monitoring and tracking the effectiveness of the test delivery teams
- Make informed commercial decisions that meet organisational QE needs
- Work closely with the “Head of Technology Engineering, Quality” located in other Nab location to provide input and evaluate and select the best tools to meet testing delivery needs
- Establish strong working relationships with the senior leaders and owners of technical services across the enterprise, and ensure that the right people, processes, and tools are available to meet the highest level of service and support their roadmap
- Work closely with the “Head of Technology, Delivery Enablement” to ensure that test environments and test data are available to meet the needs of the testers
