This role oversees vendors' quality management systems, supports the implementation of internal and industry Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and leads Root Cause Analysis activities in the event of major quality issues.The role also supervises vendor-appointed Technical Managers and Factory Certified Auditors at factory sites, ensuring bulk production meets quality standards, audit requirements, and corrective action follow-ups.The primary focus is on footwear, with opportunities to expand into other accessories categories (e.g. handbags, belts, etc.).Frequent travel within Vietnam is required, with occasional travel to other locations in Asia.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead and conduct factory evaluationsSupport new vendor onboarding processesExecute Quality Management Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) evaluationsDeliver SOP and technical training programsProvide training for Technical ManagersLead Root Cause Analysis for quality issuesManage and track corrective action plansDrive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain QA scorecardsKey Documentation ResponsibilitiesFactory Evaluation ReportsSOP Evaluation ReportsInternal Manufacturer KPI ReportsQA Training MaterialsQuality Failure ReportsQuality ScorecardsQualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Footwear Technology, Product Development, or related fieldMinimum 8 - 10 years of experience in footwear manufacturing and quality assurance is must haveExperience in fashion accessories (e.g. handbags, belts) is a plusAt least 3 years of supervisory or team management experienceStrong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis methodologiesSolid understanding of quality standards for premium/global brandsGood command of written and spoken English
