- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational English lessons to primary students, according to the Cambridge Primary curriculum.
- Utilize various teaching methods and tools to accommodate different learning styles and language levels among students.
- Assess and monitor student progress in English language acquisition, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
- Contribute to school exhibitions and presentations that showcase student work in
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences as
- Support the schools vision and mission through active involvement in school initiatives and events.
- Demonstrate a shared understanding of the schools guiding statements and Cambridge department WISE Guiding Statements (Wisdom, Inclusivity, Synthesis, and Exploration)- separate document will be shared with staff
- Model the highest standards of ethical conduct in their interactions with the school community
- Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school
- Demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning by engaging in reflective practice and fully engaging in the schools CPD program
- Demonstrate a consistent commitment to well-being for the whole community
- Create a classroom culture and environment where all students are supported in their learning and their achievements are celebrated, including use of displays
- Establish positive and productive relationships with all students to support their learning and achievement

- Have high expectations of all students and strategies to support students in meeting these expectations based on the principles of behavior for learning
- Work effectively with colleagues to develop the curriculum and enhance student

- Demonstrate secure content knowledge and pedagogy to plan coherent, authentic and engaging learning programs and lessons

- Use summative assessment to understand student progress and attainment, including designing appropriate internal examinations
- Record student data on the schools shared Student Tracker
- Manage time effectively and ensure the classroom is free from
- Engage in reflective practice to improve the teaching and learning process
- Use a variety of teaching and learning strategies that encourage the development of students
- Demonstrate effective use of digital technologies to extend learning to enhance student knowledge, skills and conceptual understanding
- Share key information on progress, attainment and areas for development with colleagues, and collaboratively work towards improving student learning
- Critically engage with research and evidence in learning and teaching and apply new ideas and approaches to improve the quality of their practice.
- Involve parents and careers in school life to support student learning
- Engage with the wider community to contribute to the schools life, vision and mission
- Encourage student participation in the wider community, contributing to their development as responsible, active citizens
- Establish professional relationships with colleagues in other institutions, professional bodies and educational organizations to develop professional practice.
