Job Responsibilities
- Research & study of raw material (coffee green beans, tea leaves, botanicals for food), process technology (extraction, aroma recovery, distillation, fractionation, dryer), packaging materials with food safety matter. - Development works under a manager in the lab for our new commercial products, mainly coffee extraction products. - Development of new suppliers & sources for our new products. - Complying with worldwide regulatory legislation for the food category - Sensory and chemical evaluation is mainly for coffee products. - Making scale-up process trials in the factory with the production team, - Technical support with managers to Production, QC, QA, SCM, and Sales - Doing other tasks assigned by the R&D manager.Job Requirement
Necessary Skill / Experience
・Education: University Graduate major in related Food Science, Food Process Technology ・Language: English - Business Level ・Experience: At least 4 years of experience in R&D in coffee products development or process technology (beverage category) development including management experience. ・Knowledge: - Good knowledge & skills of food (desirable coffee, beverage) processing technology (e.g. extraction, aroma recovery, spray dry, freeze dry), food laboratory role, food safety, and hygiene. - Knowledge and experience of the pilot machine operating for extraction or beverage processing. ・Skills: - Able to work independently in food / Science laboratory.
Preferred Skill
- Experience in the food industry - Being able to read and understand P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) and PFD (Process Flow Diagram) drawings
