- Conduct regular legal research and reviews to stay up-to-date with laws, regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices relevant to the business operations.
- Provide guidance and training to company's employee, SCG internal client on regulatory compliance matters.
- Investigate compliance breaches or incidents promptly and recommend necessary corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as external legal requirements. Prepare related templates, standard document to support company's operation activities.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks (including tax issues) within the organization and recommend preventive measures.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess compliance requirements and develop controls to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on the status of risk management and compliance activities.
- Other assistance by assignment.
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related fields.
- Proven working experience at least 2 years as a Risk Officer or Compliance Officer in a similar role (experience about Tax is preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization (both Vietnamese and English).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn and passionate in legal field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Be able to work in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
