- Vietnam is a growing economy and one of the main countries attracting foreign Investment
- Highly competitive market with more than 200 brands in LPG. Many small players with fierce and illegal competitive habits.
- LPG business mostly managed through network of Distributors for C12 and in Direct for Bulk and some big B2B (HORECA) customers
- Vietnamese LPG association being present but not focusing on the general interests of the market.
- TotalEnergies and Elfgaz brands recognition currently modest and need to be better promoted,
- Customers are looking for price. TELPGV is offering high quality selNice before best pricing, Difficult to market.
- Difficult to get quality manpower in different areas of business. Higher than average turnover in sales teams
- South Market represents 75-80% of our sales while North market is developing, need to follow this trend up
- Drive the HSEQ culture and implementation, ensuring the compliance with policies and procedures in the function.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Define objectives of sales team force to meet budgeted volumes and margins.
- Manage pricing & discounts to ensure required unit margins for the company.
- Ensure proper collection of debtors and take action when required. Ensure the tenure of Credit committees.
- Ensure that effective systems are developed and practiced to have desired information flow, controls to data management.
- Analyzes sales statistics and market data to determine business growth potential.
- Contribute to the optimization of the stocks (LPG and spare parts, focus on cylinder reconciliation)
- Seek out & target new customers and new opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and secure new businesses.
- Coordinate the management of key accounts.
- Develop, maintain and improve business relations with existing customers.
- Establish performance goals for employees, and monitor performance on a continual basis.
- Manage and coach the team, provide guidance, support and professional development opportunities
- Define criteria for direct customer selection (mainly Bulk and B2B)
- Select potential targets and manage the team in charge of developing prospects
- Develop the full offer including LPG with a focus on installing and maintaining customers installation.
- Collaborate with other departments including marketing, business services as well as Singapore & Paris LPG teams to support for commercial activities.
- Provide other functions with relevant consultancy
- Drive Salsa usage to all salesmen users in S&M
- Manage and contribute to good relationship and effective collaboration with LPG Association and Authorities.
- Representative in working with various Local Authorities regarding the Market trading (Market Controller, Economics Police, Ministry or Department of Trading and Commerce, Ministry or Department of Finance...)
- Bachelor's degree or Master/MBA's degree in Business, Commercial, Sales or equivalent.
- Have at least 10 years of experience in Petroleum/Chemical sector will be a plus, including 3 years in Senior Management position.
- Have industry knowledge within Vietnamese industry (experience outside LPG is welcome).
- Ability to speak fluently both Vietnamese and English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven management skills to lead & motivate teams, and the ability to work effective in a matrix environment with a strong "hands-on" approach.
- Willingness to travel across the country to meet clients and authorities.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
