Purpose and ScopeThe Chief Accountant / Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the Project Companies. The role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and group reporting policies, while driving efficient financial management. The position also provides financial analysis, strategic advice, and leadership to support the company's long-term objectives.Key Responsibilities
A. Professional Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all accounting and financial operations of the company.
- Supervise accounting systems, treasury management, ledgers, invoices, payroll, insurance, and other accounting processes.
- Prepare and present periodic financial reports to plant management, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and group policies.
- Manage accurate and timely tax reporting (CIT, VAT, PIT, FCT) and lead tax audits, working closely with tax authorities as required.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes in accordance with group accounting policies and prepare consolidated financial reporting packages.
- Develop and implement annual and departmental work plans for the accounting team.
- Manage project cashflow, coordinate with banks for regular loan reporting, and arrange funding when necessary.
- Organize both scheduled and ad-hoc asset and cash inventories.
- Assign tasks, supervise, and evaluate the performance of accounting staff, while providing training and updates on accounting laws and regulations.
- Advise management on financial controls, cost optimization strategies, and resource allocation.
- Handle credit transactions and liaise with auditors and relevant authorities.
- Manage project company bank accounts, including authorization and compliance updates per group policies.
- Lead the rollout of new systems, including process design, UAT, and data migration to meet group requirements.B. Other Duties
- Act as the company's local representative in Huong Hoa District, supporting the Company Director in managing relationships with key stakeholders in Quang Tri Province.
- Represent the company in meetings and inspections with government authorities, and coordinate urgent production-related issues in the absence of leadership.
- Collaborate with plant managers to ensure smooth plant operations and resolve production-related challenges.
- Oversee community development programs and local support activities.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in a Chief Accountant or equivalent leadership position.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Technical Skills:
Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Solid knowledge of IFRS and group reporting requirements.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in renewable energy is a plus.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.Soft Skills:

- Attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
