The work area of the Steam Turbine Supervisor includes all components of the steam turbines on different machine types.How You'll Make an Impact

The Steam Turbine Erection Supervisor works independently in close coordination with the site manager. He distributes the work tasks in the team, leads, instructs and checks regularly. He is authorized to issue instructions. He implements the basic requirements of occupational safety and monitors their compliance. He checks the quality of the work in his area of responsibility.

Typical activities on the power plants are:

o Evaluation or preparation of assembly efforts (time, personnel, tools and parts requirements)o Support respectively legwork defining of required spare parts, creating and/or reviewing of the rescue plans, method statements and/or risk assessments.o Adjustment with the site manager, review of project information, work scope and planned resources.o Setting up the construction site and the infrastructure according to the agreed layout.o Organization and coordination of the work tasks in consultation with the Site managemento In coordination with the site manager coordination of sub suppliers, fact finding and testing staffo Reporting of site manager concerning progress of work, deviations, technical and personal matters including respective documentationo Reshipment of rental tools and site equipmento Clarification of technical problems in cooperation with the site managero Preparation respectively control of technical documentationo Handover of documentation, review of time schedule including deviations and respective reasonso Independent solving of problems on site, clarifying findings, developing ideas for improvemento Establish customer satisfaction and rate sub suppliers and own staff.

Continuous willingness to self-train and develop further (technology / methods / EHS)

What You Bring

Bachelor or Master Degree in mechanical engineering

Additionally, skilled worker training in a technical profession or several years of practical professional experience is preferred

Minimum of. 3 years experience in equipment installation work (rotating and non- rotating equipment) on preferably international Construction Sites

An experience Steam turbine fitter and is able to carry out and guide all work on the Steam Turbine independently in order to fulfill obligations,

Ability to make and implement all necessary and situation-related decisions, deploy and instruct employee independently

Willingness to travel 100% worldwide, changing operating conditions

Ability to work within International teams

Good English language skills, car-driving license

Knowledge of international Health and Safety Standards

Knowledge of respective international codes/standards
