- Act as the prime contact window and take full responsibility for maintaining and developing customer relationships
- Approach customers and prospect customers to identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage
- Collaborate with Head Quart and Toshiba Group companies to identify potential projects, develop partnerships, and define sales and business development strategies
- Be responsible for sales targets of assigned Key Accounts / Customers
- Develop, manage and maintain a strong project pipeline, including Target Project List (TPL) and projects aligned with Mid-Term Plan (MTP)
- Obtain first-hand information on customer plant operational issues, outage schedules, and plans for repairs, upgrades, and equipment/parts replacement
- Proactively identify customer needs and lead promotion campaigns using Target Lists, Retrofit/ Upgrade concepts, Asset Management, Digital Transformation and Carbon Neutral solutions
- Support customers in defining scope of works, preparing RSPL and budget estimation
- Conduct project reviews (GO/NO-GO, BID/NO-BID), including pricing strategy, risk analysis and mitigation plans
- Lead proposal development, prepare and review commercial conditions, and conduct contract clarification and negotiation in cooperation with Engineering and Contract Administrator, Order acknowledgement
- Organize and participate in promotion activities (seminars, workshops, customer visits, etc.) in cooperation with Toshiba Group companies
- Perform project handover to Technical Group for execution after contract signing
- Develop and maintain business partners
- Coordinate with Accounting Department on credit limits, financial evaluation, and update Customer profile / Approved Customer list
1.2 Project Execution & Contract Support
- Support Technical Group during outage execution, acting as the sales contact for customer coordination
- Prepare quotations and negotiate Variation Orders with customers
- Follow up customer payment upon notification from Contract Administrator (CA)
1.3 Procurement Support
- Prepare Purchase Requisition (PR) for simple parts requested by customers
- Submit Order Confirmation to Contract Administration upon receipt of customer orders
1.4 Other works assigned by Department MangerRequired Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience with technical background in Sales / Business Development in power plant or energy-related business
- Strong sales-oriented mindset; this position is sales-focused, not an engineering role
- Fluent English in speaking and writing; Japanese language is an added advantage
- Proactive, customer-oriented approach with good negotiation and communication skills
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Experience and understanding of Vietnam energy market movement, with ability to provide market analysis
- Good statistical and analytical skills, capable of preparing sales reports and delivering effective sales pitches to potential customers.
