
Senior Operations Executive

- Assist with preparation of drafts of the Technical Services manuals which are given out to Exhibitors.
- Work closely with/manage appointed contractors, to ensure the smooth coordination of exhibition operations; arranging for pre-show briefings.
- Be technically conversant with all aspects of stand building, floor plan layouts and other electrical /telco services required.
- Work closely with relevant venue owner, contractors and suppliers for the exhibition to ensure a smooth operation at the show.
- Design and implement - in consultation with Superior the building of organiser's complex at site as well as the various stand packages adopted by exhibitors, ensuring that all regulations are followed.
- Manage all operations aspects during show time including Opening Ceremony/ conference set-up, shuttle bus schedules, parking arrangements, emergency procedures and other onsite management.
- Solve operational problems in a speedy and effective manner, bearing customer relations in mind at all times.
- Be responsible for post-show matters and reviews, ensuring that all files/photos are archived.
- To be trained in Workplace Safety guidelines.
- Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel/Event Management and/or equivalent
- From 3 years of Operation or relevant experiences in Events/Exhibitions/MICE industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated decision-making ability in a leadership or team management role.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong communication skills, detail oriented, time management and problem solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Conversant with the various software programmes (Photoshops, Illustrations, Autocad, Canva,...) is a plus
