Our Asia‑based Sourcing & Development team plays a critical role in turning innovation into reality — and packaging is a key part of that experience.We’re looking for a Packaging Developer to support the development, execution, and delivery of packaging solutions for bikes, framesets, and equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, close collaboration with suppliers, and learning within a global product development environment.How You’ll Make a DifferenceSupport the design and development of packaging structures that meet testing standards, transportation requirements, and market expectations.Execute packaging updates, revisions, and documentation to support on‑time product delivery.Maintain accurate packaging data including drawings, BOMs, pricing, colors, and test results.Collaborate with Project Managers and cross‑functional teams to track development status and timelines using PLM and tracking tools.Support packaging testing, trials, and issue resolution in partnership with Quality, Engineering, and SQE teams.Work directly with suppliers to execute trials, samples, and corrective actions.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on packaging performance and sustainability.Participate in supplier factory visits as needed (Vietnam, Taiwan, China).What You Need to Win2–4 years of experience in packaging development, packaging design, or a related technical role.Knowledge of packaging materials, structures, and manufacturing processes.Experience using packaging CAD tools for structural design.Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for packaging visuals.Comfortable working with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, documentation systems).Clear communication skills in English; Mandarin/Taiwanese is a strong plus.Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and willingness to learn.Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and multicultural teams.Experience with PLM systems (e.g. Agile) is a plus.Here at Specialized we believe that bikes have the power to change lives for the better.
