- The Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability team is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of company's Supply Chain Responsible Sourcing program, which seeks to improve social, environmental and economic performance among private label suppliers. The position is based in the Hanoi office.
- The responsibilities include but are not limited to support Best Buy Supply Chain Sustainability (SCS) program and C-TPAT program implementation including supplier visits and validations, 3rd party audit firm management, supplier training and capacity building programs, etc. The Specialist is also responsible for internal cross-functional team communication on SCS and C TPAT programs.
- Implement different approaches to monitor suppliers according to their risk level. The tasks include
- 1) New supplier qualification, existing supplier validation.
- 2) Review factory assessment reports; identify the gap and the opportunity for improvements; Dive deep into audit data to identify the root cause; Develop and track metrics to measure the improvements.
- 3) Communicate with suppliers and internal cross-functional team about the supplier social performance and drive their changes and solutions.
- Initiate and lead factory development program to support the factory on continuous improvement.
- Develop and facilitate training for suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to promote program updates and awareness.
- Work closely with third party audit firms to ensure integrity and consistency in our audit protocols and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in law, human resources, health and safety, environmental engineering or related field.
- Special licenses, other education, certification or professional association memberships of laws and regulations on labor, health and safety and environmental, supply chain security requirements and C TPAT guidelines. RBA certified lead auditor preferred.
- 2- 3 years' experience in social audit, human resource management, health and safety, or environmental, preferably with work experience at manufacturing facilities.
- Good communication and presentations skills
- Good command of English both spoken and written, Chinese both spoken and written preferred
- Good at work planning and prioritizing
- Excellent Computer Skill
