PurposeThe modernization hunter works with new KONE customers, proactively targeting modernization opportunities outside the current customer base. He/she also evaluates, prioritizes and responds to RFQs.He/she sells all modernizations, full replacements, Advanced People Flow Solutions and other digital solutionsWhat will you be doing?Customer relationship managementProactively develops and creates customer relationships in his/her area of responsibilityIs accountable for developing KONE position in his/her customer base or market areaCreates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire KONE sales team (e.g. cross-selling)Ensures customer satisfaction and solves complaints with the rest of KONE teamDocuments the customer and contact information, maintains customer dataSellProactively generates opportunities from outside current customer baseHandles RFQsIs accountable for leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targetsIs accountable for finding customer needs and that KONE’s solution matches with the needsIs responsible for pricing using the approved tendering tools, and for optimizing prices and discounts within his/her authorityValidates that the contents of the contract are in line with the negotiation process outcomeMaintains full information of opportunities, tasks and visits (sales funnel management)Responsible for timely and accurate reporting in CRMResponsible for gathering relevant information about market and competitors from the fieldSupports the finance function in money collection.Drives execution of her/his individual sales planWhat do we offer?Masters the sales processDemonstrates service mindsetNumbers and facts drive actionsIs able to bring across customer needs, add value to customers’ businesses by offering solutions that meet their needs and is able to use value based pricing to guarantee healthy marginsComfortable and excited about the opportunities that digital solutions bring.Accustomed to use different sales toolsSales and/ or customer service experienceExperience from/ familiar with solution selling methodologyExperience from/ familiar with (selling) complex technology solutionsExperience from / familiar with KONE customers’ industries is a plusBasic English skillsBasic digital skills and mindsetBachelor or Master’s degree in economics, engineering or other relevant fieldAt KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
