  • 1. Ensure forecast accuracy of demand and supply and on-time availability of products.
  • Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities. Work with Production to define long-term and mid-term plans to balance the Supply (local production, import) with the Demand (Sales in the country and export Sales).
  • Analyze actual sales against sales forecast on monthly basis and make necessary adjustment to balance the demand and supply in BBVN & overseas vendors to achieve the optimum inventory level.
  • Design or implement plan for finished products.
  • Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
  • Manage product phase in/out, product discontinuation, product diversion and also control of aging & expiring products.
  • Coordinate with dealers (DKSH, etc) to support Sales activities.
  • 2. Manage the Procurement activities, including purchasing and importing products (normal drugs, additive drugs, medical devices and/or other products for sales in Vietnam), including:
  • Manage orders from inter-companies to serve the sales in Vietnam.
  • Manage the following up the logistics arrangement: shipping, import, customs clearance, inland transportation to the warehouse.
  • In charge of the complaint damage to suppliers (damage, shortage, temperature, related to quality, quantity, transportation).
  • In charge of follow up the direct delivery to dealers.
  • Be responsible for internal transfer from South to North & vice versa (entire Vietnam) and for Import License application for Propofol from Ministry of Health.
  • 3. Production Allocation among plants (local production)
  • Supervise/ approve/ revise the Production Plan based on local sales demand to meet local sales and export, also for Inventory target.
  • Manage the inventory to meet Inventory KPIs (cover in week) & finished goods arrangement between regions (North/ South).
  • 4. Provide strong leadership for the team to drive a high-performance team:
  • Be responsible for the development and performance of team members.
  • Manage the Demand planning operational performance reporting, processes, and systems to ensure all Demand planning activities have been conformed to Department and company's policy and conducted in the most efficient manner. Ensure data integrity to report & update KPI accurately and timely.
  • Ensure that all team members' activities are in accordance with the guidelines of the company's Code of Conduct.
  • Recruit, manage, train and restructure Demand Planning team to ensure right people for the right job.
  • Work with direct manager and Human Resources to ensure that appropriate strategies, policies, and processes are in place to recruit, retain and develop talented individuals.
  • The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Direct Manager from time to time.
Professional competencies
  • Bachelor's degree, prefer in foreign trade, supply chain, logistics.
  • Strong knowledge in supply chain management, incoterms, customs process.
  • Hand-on experiences in demand planning.
  • At least 5 years experiences in importing normal drug, special addictive drugs and medical devices.
  • 5 years experiences with visa/ quota/ import license application.
  • 3 years experiences with team management of 3-5 people.
  • Prefer candidates having experiences working for FDI companies.
  • High level of computer proficiency required. (Microsoft Office, Internet, Google Suite, ERP systems, etc).
  • Good English and Vietnamese written and verbal communication skills.
