
Area Sales Manager crop protection

- Oversee sales performance in the assigned territory by collaborating with distributor representatives and dealers , while strengthening and expanding the retailer network to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Assess market potential, develop strategies and tactics, and translate them into actionable sales plans and demand generation activities.
- Lead demand generation efforts by coordinating with local distributors and the Market Development Organization to support dealers and retailers in product movement.
- Manage and guide the market development team to create demand through presentations, technical seminars, farmer workshops, field days, and events.
- Build and maintain a strong farmer network.
- Provide coaching and technical training for the market development team and farmer network.
- Deliver monthly updates on crop stages, pest forecasts, and market insights.
- Conduct surveys to gather farmer and customer feedback.
- Participate in organizing seminars on local TV or other media platforms.
- Prepare for new product launches, including pre-commercial trials and demonstrations.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Crop Protection, Agriculture, or Rural Development.
- Strong leadership and initiative.
- Proven experience in management and team leadership.
- Excellent sales negotiation and customer networking skills.
- Minimum of 5 years in Sales/Marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong presentation and communication abilities.
- Experience in building and developing customer networks, including farmers.
- Proficiency in English is an advantage.
