Job summary -
  • The position is responsible for maintaining Information Technology (IT) implemented in effective working order and ensure system up time and reliability according to the policies and standards of Rosewood Hotel Group; and to the needs of the business operations as defined by IT Manager or the Hotel management.
  • The position is responsible for executing IT initiative(s), project(s) or sharing ideas to improve the effectiveness, security or productivity of the business operations. He (or she) is responsible for the daily operation, support, and the security of the systems and data that support and enable the operations.
  • The position is responsible (with coordination with other department(s) when necessary) for delivering technology experience to the customers at the highest possible degree.
  • The position is responsible for providing orientations to new associates, and trainings to existing associates to make sure IT regulations and cyber threat preventions are always up to date.
  • The position is responsible for maintaining IT equipment and software license inventory and ensuring all equipment movements follow approval process and are recorded.

  • Promotes “One stop service” culture, puts into mindset that IT users are customers to satisfy
Professional Responsibilities-
  • Performs the hardening configuration (according to RWHG, RWHON or Hoiana guideline) to all IT equipment such as: servers, computers, network devices before delivering to Operations
  • Maintains the up-and-running status of below systems:
o Server farmo Internet Service Provider router(s)o Rosewood WAN routero Core switcheso Edge switcheso Data Backup
  • Performs IT daily checklist
  • Performs IT monthly tasks
  • Performs IT quarterly tasks
  • Performs trainings in timely basis
  • Proactively checks all guest facing technologies, such as: Internet access, self-service kiosk, business central facility… and performs the needful to make sure their performance is at the highest possible.
  • Responds to end user request in timely manner. All requests are to be logged/recorded for future analysis

Yêu cầu công việcQualification -
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science or Management/Business or equivalent required
  • Microsoft Professional certificated is preferred
  • Cisco Certificated in network infrastructure is preferred
Experience -
  • A solid understanding of the hospitality business and the application of IT to that business.
  • A minimum of three years in the on-going operation of Information Technology/systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Proficiency in mainstream PC desktop applications, and the effective use of Internet technology and services.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Theoretical understanding of PMS concepts
