The Regional Finance Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing financial operations across the South Asia Pacific region. This role will involve budgeting, book- keeping and financial reporting to ensure compliance of the assigned entities and to support the overall organization's growth and profitability objectives.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Brands in charge: Obagi Medical and Milk Make-up
- Book-keeping and accounting reconciliations for relevant entities as assigned: Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc
- Monitor financial performance and compliance mainly for Singapore entity, ensuring adherence to local regulations and company policies.
- Tracking of central regional costs vs budget for Singapore only.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulators for Singapore.
- Prepare and present financial reports to regional and global for relevant entities.
- Connect with Bollore to arrange shipments from US to Singapore, Thailand, Malay, etc
- Consolidation of the financial performance of the region, allowing management to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Consolidation of budgets, trends and actuals for S.APAC, join monthly meetings to discuss for the performance review and explanation the financial numbers.
- Communication and co-ordination with USA teams (Obagi LA) and (Milk NYC) to ensure aligned financial statements and management reports
- Conduct financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Fulfill any tasks assigned by direct manager and/ or GM
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting & finance
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial management or related fields.
- Familỉa with Singapore tax, book-keeping, accounting system.
- Certifications of CPA, CMA, CIMA, or ACCA is a plus.
- Skills: English smoothly communication is prerequisite, strong knowledge of financial regulations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects, handle flexible situations, and work in a fast-paced environment.
