- Oversee and manage a team of 3D / 2D model and texture artists to engage in Games Character / Creatures projects.
- Lead the artistic direction and ensure alignment with the overall visual style and narrative of the project.
- Led the communication with clients about artistic and technical matters.
- Technical expertise to decide which technologies to pursue and which to avoid Establish Art production pipeline in coordination with clients.
- Ensured technical and artistic quality of deliverables.
- Proven ability to articulate a game project's art goals and lead the team to meet objectives to fulfill those goals.
- Providing mentorship, guidance, and feedback to foster their artistic growth and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality character art.
- Play a key role in recruiting and building a strong Character Art team, identifying talents to enhance the studio's creative capabilities.
- At least 10 years of experience with leadership roles in the video game industry, managing teams of “creative geniuses”.
- Must have shipped a minimum of 2 AAA games.
- Mastery of common industry Software like 3D Studio Max or Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Marvelous designer
- Expert in game engines (Unreal and Unity).
- Strong artistic aptitudes, and ability to draw.
- Experience creating and optimizing art pipelines.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a track record of successfully leading and inspiring creative teams.
- Great level of English communication is a must.
