ACG_3004_JOBOur client is a leading educational institution who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.Job Description:Financial Strategy & ManagementEstablish, implement, and maintain financial policies, controls, and procedures in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and regulations for a for-profit educational institution.Manage all financial operations, including purchasing, payables, receivables, inventory, student billing and collection, and asset management.Lead the preparation and monitoring of operating and capital budgets in close coordination with the Rector’s office and other departments to ensure financial discipline and alignment with institutional goals.Create cash flow forecasts and financial models to maintain liquidity and long-term stability.Provide financial analysis and modeling to support new initiatives, campus expansion, and strategic partnerships.Financial Reporting & AnalysisCreate and present a variety of financial documents, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, reports, and analyses for key stakeholders such as the Chairman, Rector, and shareholders.Identify trends, variances, and areas for potential cost savings or revenue growth by analyzing financial data. Use these insights to make actionable recommendations to leadership.Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the university's financial efficiency and long-term sustainability are on track.Ensure the university is fully compliant with all relevant tax regulations and financial requirements for a private, for-profit institution.Financing, Risk Compliance & LeadershipProvide essential financial information (statements, projections, and business plans) to support the university's efforts in securing external financing, such as bank loans or corporate bonds.Ensure continuous compliance with the terms of existing and future financing agreements.Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions, coordinating the university’s annual external audit.Manage and mitigate financial risks, ensuring strong internal controls and compliance with both financial and educational regulations.Lead and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.Enhance financial systems and technologies, focusing on using the MISA ERP system to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting.Collaboration & StrategyAct as a trusted advisor to senior management and department heads, offering strategic financial guidance and ensuring alignment with the university’s goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Admissions, Academic Affairs, HR, and Student Services—to align financial decisions with operational objectives.Work with the Cintana Education team to design and implement financial improvement initiatives, ensuring they align with the university’s long-term growth strategy.RequirementsA bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a must. A professional accounting certification, such as a CPA or an equivalent, is highly preferred.You'll need 4-6 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including at least two years in a management role.The role requires proven experience at a reputable accounting or auditing firm in Vietnam, along with a deep understanding of audit methodologies and best practices.Fluency in both written and spoken Vietnamese is essential, and proficiency in English is also required.In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and local tax regulations is necessary.Experience with ERP systems, especially MISA, is a significant advantage.You should have a proven ability to lead, manage, and develop a finance team with a focus on operational efficiency.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are key.You must possess excellent communication skills to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have high integrity, professional ethics, and a strong attention to detail.
