What you'll do:As a Technical Service Specialist - BOPP Flexible, you will play a pivotal role in covering the technical aspects of various applications. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on troubleshooting and proposing alternatives to solve customer problems. Your role will also involve promoting new products and following up on trials performed by customers. You will have the opportunity to lead a team of professionals in sales, business development and account management. Your leadership skills will be crucial in restructuring task forces to focus more on application. Furthermore, you will be involved in co-developing with target customers on cost reduction, product improvement and new application/product developments.

Cover the technical aspects in Masterbatch ranges, applications in BOPP, cPE/cPP, BOPET and other Blow Film processes for the assigned territories.
Advise troubleshooting and propose alternatives to solve customers' problems/requirements accurately, timely, and completely.
Provide technical consultations to customers advising adequate products for the customer's application.
Promote new products and follow up on trials performed by customers.
Lead SEA team (TS, Sales, Business Development team & Account Managers) to effectively work in new market areas by restructuring task forces to be more application focus.
Build technical tools / framework for TS such as upgrading technical questionnaire for the easier working of TS, Automatic PDS creation tool etc.
Co-development with target customers on cost down, product improvement, and new application/product developments.
Create training materials to enhance TSR knowledge and capability with a commercial focus.

What you bring:The ideal candidate for the Technical Service Specialist - BOPP Flexible role will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field. You will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science/Engineering, majoring in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemist, Polymer Science or Chemical Engineering. With at least 5 years of experience in the Technical Service field within the Plastic or Polymer Industry, you are fluent in English and ready to travel across Asia. Your strong personality and excellent abilities in business and marketing analysis will be key to your success in this role.

Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree of Science/Engineering major in Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemist / Polymer Science / Chemical Engineering.
At least 5 years experience in the Technical Service field in Plastic or Polymer Industry.
Fluent in English at the communication level.
Independent and ready to travel in Asia.
Good personality and should have good abilities in business and marketing analysis.
