RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and direction to the backend team for project execution.
  • Ensure backend stability and quality, owning the backend technical architecture.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the stakeholders on backend project planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with detailed product specifications.
  • Review and approve backend technical documentation and code.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and oversee the career development of backend engineers.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of backend software development experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good command of English – both written and spoken.
Technical proficiency
  • Expert-level implementation skills with C#, ASP.NET and .NET Core.
  • Strong understanding and proficiency in design patterns, data structures, and development best practices.
  • Extensive experience and understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services or any other equivalent cloud platforms.
  • Advanced understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Leadership & collaboration
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor Engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and frontend developers.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in the gaming industry
  • Experience working and collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones
  • Experience working with Unity
