Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute individually while reporting directly to the Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales within the Automotive Aftermarket, utilising their knowledge of sales and spare parts in the automotive market.What you'll do:As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales within the Automotive Aftermarket. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leveraging your knowledge of automotive spare parts and your engineering background to maximise sales opportunities. You will work closely with other team members, fostering a collaborative environment while also having the opportunity to shine as an individual contributor. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will provide regular updates on sales progress and manage distribution channels effectively. Drive sales within the Automotive Aftermarket through strategic planning and execution

Leverage your knowledge of automotive spare parts to maximise sales opportunities

Report directly to the Sales Manager, providing regular updates on sales progress

Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve overall sales targets

Utilise your engineering background to provide technical support to customers when required

Manage distribution channels effectively to ensure product availability and visibility

What you bring:The ideal candidate for this Sales Engineer role will bring a strong educational background in Industrial, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering. You will have proven experience in sales and possess extensive knowledge of spare parts in the automotive market. Your experience in distribution or channel management in parts or components will be highly valued. As an effective communicator, you will be comfortable reporting directly to management and working collaboratively within a team. Your ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively will set you apart.

Educational background in Industrial, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering

Proven experience in sales and knowledge of spare parts in the automotive market

Experience in distribution or channel management in parts or components

Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also contributing individually

Strong communication skills, with the ability to report effectively to management

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
