- Develop Area Strategy and Pricing for CCL products
- Develop Area strategy, matching Global product strategic guidelines [Translation of the Global/Regional strategy into a local plan to facilitate product growth and meet customer needs]
- Ensure Area pricing process comply with Global governance
- Make hay/local innovation
- Develop products and P&L for these are owned by the CCL team
- Develop and monitor Areal product targets (to be signed by Regional CCL and Area L & S Manager)
- Support sales management in the establishing of value proposition and sales channel target setting
- Manage product performance in Area & ensure targets are met
- Manage Area product development and local investment cases
- In conjunction with procurement as required, establish contracts with key 3rd party vendors e.g. trucking, rail and air
- Optimize Area products through day-to-day asset and 3rd party management
- Develop CCL products both in terms of corridors and product features
- Facilitate Global / Regional solutions in APA by providing / developing relevant CCL products upon request
- Establish business cases for asset investments supporting the Regional and global CCL strategy as well as accountable/measured on realization of the benefits of such business cases
- Grow combined CCL strategy to bring products to the desired stage
- Ensure close collaboration with Area L & S functions and make SLA alignments to ensure service delivery is at Maersk standards that are committed to customers and that necessary controls are in place for the
Profit and Loss
- Working with the Regional Head CCL APA make sure budgeted numbers are being met and review of ROFO
- Build and develop team with strong logistics capabilities and product expertise
- Act as SMEs and support the Area Sales teams with growth enablement activities such as pipeline evaluation, pipeline assessment, vertical prioritization, target customer assessments and in large scale pursuits
- Share best practices with Region and Global team
- 10 years of experience performing in logistics / ocean industry with a focus on Cold Chain
- Reefer technical knowledge
- Commodity Knowledge
- Strong market knowledge and commercial acumen
- Strategic mindset and strong execution skills
- Proven track record on P&L management experience in a regional set-up.
- Ability to anticipates future product performance delivery and factors this into overall pricing strategy decisions
