- Collaborate with our technical leaders to establish a vision for our mobile engineering initiatives.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to mobile developers to facilitate their professional growth.
- Work on addressing bugs and improving application performance.
- Continuously research, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies to optimize development efficiency.
- Participate in the planning process for software development projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery.
- Design the architecture for new products and features.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of mobile developers, offering guidance and support to achieve individual objectives and deliver high-quality code.
- 6+ years of experience in Mobile Development.
- 2+ years of experience as a Mobile Development Team Leader.
- Proven expertise in either iOS (SwiftUI and UIKit) or Android (Kotlin) development. While proficiency in both platforms is not mandatory, it will be a plus.
- Experience working on various mobile apps, preferably large-scale applications with multi-country targets.
- Experience with modern mobile architecture.
- Having experience in KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform) development is a big plus.
- Familiarity with backend development technologies (E.g. APIs and databases)
- Experience with continuous integration,
- continuous delivery/continuous deployment.
- Experience with Modularization and code artifact management
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong willingness to learn new practices and technologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including facilitation and negotiation.
- Understanding and experience of Agile methodology.
- Experience in working across several technical domains with the ability to ‘deep dive’ where required and ensure correct solutions are implemented.
- Ability to translate technical talk to the business.
- Ability to deliver convincing presentations that provide significant insight and generate consensus and buy-in.
- Experience managing and leading a development team.
