Laboratory TechnicianKey responsibilities:Carry out daily QC tests on in process, finished productCarry out incoming Raw Material testingAccurate and timely recording of QC test dataSupport Manager and Chemist on testing of retained samples for complaintsPlanning, organising and supervising day to day production activities related to Pre-Assembly/Batch Loading/Grinding/Colour Matching & FillingFocus on throughput & production efficiency by ensuring less production downtime & process lossesEffectively playing a lead role and be fully responsible in leading the production team by devising clear work schedules and giving timely and accurate information to ensure batches meet the planned output datesEnsuring batches are produced in strict adherence to process instructionsKey tasks:Perform QC tests on production batches accurately and make recommendations for dilution and repairs – 80%Perform testing of incoming raw materials and retained samples for complaint batches – 10%Accurate and timely recording of QC test data – 5% Good housekeeping and maintenance of lab equipment – 5%Conduction of activities related to day-to-day production.Lead the staff with regards to their KPI, 5S, Quality, Safety & Discipline Work as a team closely with Planning, QC, Maintenance, WH & HSE teamTo initiate & support improvement action implementation and execution via structured methodology such as LEAN or KAIZEN, CI Focus & follow-up closely on urgent item production to ensure its delivery schedule are metEnsuring Raw Material issued are checked by downline on quality & quantity before charging into the batch as per its instruction without any deviationEnsure every batch briefing are carried out to the operator processing the batch at all sectionEnsuring bulk Raw Material dispensing are accurate & downline understand how to operate itMaintain stock accuracy and support stock count half yearly, cycle count monthly & dailyEnsure cleaning solvent withdrawal check sheet & R-Solvent movement check sheet are maintained up to date and submit weekly reportEnsure good resources planning & utilizationEnsure sub-standard batch are accounted and stored with proper labelling & reworked carried out as per QC recommendationStudy the yield loss and identify corrective action and executes its improvement actionMaintain high standard of Safety & 5S in production, schedule waste, pallet storage & surrounding area all the time Active involvement in monthly quality review meeting that is chair by HSE,Active involvement in ISO certificate process.Required education, experience and job-related skills:Diploma (fresh or minimum 1 year experience in laboratory work OR SPM (or equivalent) with minimum 3 years’ experience in laboratory workRead and write EnglishComputer literacySounds like a match?Welcome to apply!
