- 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in engineering management
- Team building with proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams (10+ developers)
- Global experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Technical leadership with strong technical background and hands-on development experience
- People management skills in hiring, mentoring, and performance management
- Strategic thinking ability to balance technical decisions with business objectives
- Technical Expertise:
- Full-stack development with deep experience in modern web technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js)
- Cloud platforms with hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP at enterprise scale
- System architecture experience designing scalable, distributed systems
- Data & analytics understanding of data-driven development and metrics
- Security & compliance knowledge of enterprise security requirements and practices
- DevOps & automation experience with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code
- Business Acumen:
- Budget management experience managing development budgets and resource allocation
- Delivery excellence with track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Stakeholder management ability to communicate effectively with business leaders and customers
- Cultural intelligence understanding of working in multicultural, global environments
- Metrics-driven experience using KPIs and metrics to drive team performance and improvement
