- Develop and execute market access and value communication strategies aligned with strategic goals to improve access for both existing and future Novo Nordisk products.
- Lead efforts to enhance care accessibility for vulnerable patient groups.
- Create, advise and implement government affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Proactively address external issues impacting Novo Nordisk and its therapy areas.
- Gather and share intelligence on competitors and healthcare reforms with internal stakeholders.
- Shape the local market by engaging payers, KOLs, policy makers, and media.
- Build long-term partnerships and coalitions with key external stakeholders.
- Encourage portfolio-based approaches and identify opportunities across therapy areas; conduct Value at Stake analyses and set priorities.
- Represent Novo Nordisk at major external events.
- Identify business risks and opportunities, develop action and communication plans including crisis management.
- Lead external communications to support corporate and therapy area objectives.
- Oversee media relations with APAC Corporate Affairs and Vietnam teams.
- Provide media training and ensure global communication programs meet business needs.
- Prioritize patients and customers, foster growth mindset, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop a 3–5-year corporate affairs plan aligning with affiliate, regional, and global goals; advise executives on communication and reputation management.
- Act as a strategic advisor on policy and affiliate development initiatives; set standards by contributing to management and cross-functional teams.
- Support team development through goal setting, coaching, recognition, and career growth opportunities.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the related field of market access, corporate affairs, communication, public affairs with proven track record.
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience preferred.
- Strongly established networks with relevant government institutions is advantageous.
- Relevant experience in global pharma and/or multinational companies is required.
- Public administration, social policy, business administration, communications, or life sciences degree.
- In-depth understanding of corporate and health care systems, its policy and the key stakeholders and opinion leaders is required.
- Proven ability to analyze, recommend, lead and implement strategies, projects and initiatives cross-functionally is expected.
