  • Minimum 6-8 years project procurement management experience, preferably in TRM Contract Management, Project Managements, and including service procurements.
  • Experienced with International Logistics including export/import documentation, inventory control and 3PL warehousing
Education & background knowledge:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business / Supply Chain / related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with supply chain management
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and coordinate projects across sites
  • Ability to develop and maintain sourcing and negotiation strategy.
  • Possesses knowledge of Order-to-Cash / business processes / SCM preferred
  • Good understanding of the products / services of relevant business segments and functions.

  • Responsible for the company's supply chain management, shipping, logistics and distribution with aim to efficient business continuity.
  • To ensure every external procurement arrangement undergoes through proper negotiations with alternative quotes with due consideration of quality aspects.
  • Adhering to relevant company policies and procedures while qualifying vendors, validating Contracts and Legal, Safety & P2P compliances.
  • To work closely with the Sourcing Plants to ensure efficiency in Planning & Supply.
  • Efficient & cost-effective delivery scheduling to avoid inventory accumulation, shortage or obsolescence.
  • To ensure uniformity of system inventory and physical quantity.
  • Ensuring every shipment is monitored from origin to delivery and establishing adequate visibility on forecast inventories.
  • Explore cost saving possibilities, identify bottlenecks and introduce process innovations with visionary approach.
  • Work closely and maintain a good relationship with all departments, in particular Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and 4PL.
B. Logistics operations
  • Manage import in coordination with Third Party Logistics (3PL) customs, other government agencies, transporters, forwarding agents, and Finance.
  • Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments and distribution.
  • To monitor and control detention & demurrage charges to a minimum thru diligent shipping practice.
  • Drive Logistics costs budgeting process, process coordination, data consistency, recording and retrieval.
C. Business Finance
  • Monitor inventory control to meet company's business plan
  • Calculating and comparing carrying cost of inventory with an objective of recourse optimization.
  • 6-9 month forecast to finance.
  • Monitor credit payment term for 3rd parties purchasing
D. S&OP Role: Interim
  • Validating “Inventory Need assessment” for all requested purchase requisitions.
  • Spearhead single point ownership between sales and operation to deliver a rationalized number.
