Plant Controller (Finance Manager)

• Establish and maintain an effective accounting control framework in compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and Vietnamese regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial, statutory, and management reporting.
• Oversee inventory accounting, COGS, and manufacturing costing while maintaining data integrity across production, purchasing, and logistics.
• Identify and mitigate financial, tax, cash flow, and compliance risks.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to optimize working capital and control costs.
• Monitor variances and provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

• Act as a finance business partner to the Plant Manager, aligning financial controls with operational performance.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, and Production to ensure accurate costing, inventory control, and process efficiency.
• Support operational improvements and investment decisions through financial analysis.

• Serve as the key finance contact for auditors, tax authorities, and consulting partners.
• Coordinate tax-related matters including transactions, VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), and Transfer Pricing documentation in collaboration with global tax teams.

• Work with ERP partners (including SAP) to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and support banking setup for new sites if required.

• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team while ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as Chief Accountant, Plant Controller, or senior finance leader, preferably in manufacturing or foreign-invested companies.
• Strong experience in manufacturing finance, including costing, inventory control, and operational finance.
• Proven experience working with auditors, tax authorities, and consulting firms.
• Experience collaborating with Purchasing, Logistics, and Production teams.
• Professional proficiency in both Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting, tax regulations, Corporate Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing basics.
• Experience SAP (FICO and MM models) and strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
