Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and application guidance for RF/uW and Wireless test equipment (e.g., Base station Emulators, UESIM, VNAs, Spectrum analysers, Signal generators, Power meters, Drive Tests, Oscilloscopes, Bit Error Rate testers).
- Assist customers with test setups, automation, and measurement techniques in lab and field environments.
- Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and hands-on training sessions.
- Develop application notes, white papers, test scripts, and customer documentation.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to provide feedback on product enhancements and new features.
- Work with the sales team to understand customer needs and propose tailored test solutions.
- Regular feedback to Industry Segment teams to ensure customer success across a range of wireless technologies, including RF components, Satellite comms, 5G, Wi-Fi, Radar & IoT devices.
- Support pre- and post-sales activities including evaluation, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Stay current on emerging wireless technologies and industry standards (e.g., 3GPP, IEEE 802.11, ETSI).
- Travel to customer sites, trade shows, or technical workshops.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in RF/uW systems, wireless communications, or test and measurement.
- Hands-on experience with RF/microwave lab equipment and measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with wireless communication standards (5G NR, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with automation tools and programming languages (Python, C#, MATLAB, SCPI, etc.).
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC testing, radar systems, mmWave, or antenna characterization.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing or applications engineering role.
- Experience using tools such as Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu, or NI RF instruments.
